Kay Tuxford

Kay Tuxford is a founding member of The Writers Store's Reading and Coaching programs. 

A graduate of Chapman University's Screenwriting M.F. A. program, Kay received honors as a Knott Scholar and penned a short which won the annual Cecile B. DeMille award for Best Film. Kay won Scriptapalooza TV in the 1 Hour category, received Semi-Finalist status twice in the Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowships, placed in the Second Round of Austin Film Festival, and was awarded 2nd place in Cynosure's Screenwriting Competition. She has pitched to executives at studios and companies including Miramax, Warner Brothers, and Disney and is repped by WME.

Kay has coached numerous winners in the Industry Insider Contest, including Mickey Fisher (creator of the TV series Extant).
