Storywise Teleseminar
Every aspiring TV Writer needs at least one spec script and one piece of original material before they start pounding the pavement. However, putting together this portfolio without the right guidance and support can be a daunting and confusing task.
Take the full 10 week teleseminar or just focus on your orginal pilot or spec for 5 weeks. Jen Grisanti, veteran studio executive and Story Consultant, takes you step by step through the process of writing a standout spec script and pilot script, preparing you for staffing, development and the studio writing program application process.
Jen Grisanti specially designed this course, drawing from her experiences as VP of Current Programs at CBS/Paramount, Writing Instructor for NBC’s Writers on the Verge and mentor in the CBS Diversity Program. The seminar is split into two individual classes. The spec script class begins on Sunday, March 27, 2011 and the pilot class begins on Sunday, May 15, 2011. The teleseminar will be every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. PST/7p.m. EST for one hour, with a week off between the spec script and the pilot script class.
Participants can sign up for one class or receive a discounted price by signing up for both classes. All participants will be invited for an hour long teleconferenced call discussion each week. Additionally, Jen is providing a limited number of upgraded packages*, adding one-on-one consultations and weekly feedback from Jen on your work available on a first come, first serve basis.
Any participants who are unable to join the live discussion will be provided with a recording of that week’s class.
