Description
Science fiction can transport readers to worlds light-years away or deep within unseen dimensions. It can extrapolate the smallest scientific fact into alternate realities teeming with alien races and fantastic technology. Bending the laws of time and space, science fiction lets us wonder what might be, opening the door to any possibility.
To write great science fiction, you must splice together the skills of a fiction writer and a talent for imagining new realities. In this course, you will learn about transforming the real into the fantastic, as well as such fiction craft elements as character, plot, point of view, description, dialogue, setting, voice, and theme. You will also learn how and where to market your work.
Whether you seek to write short stories or novels, hard-core or fantastic, you will learn how to write stories that overwhelm with wonder.
